Ma dernière semaine :(

Well, it's my last week at school and I am very sad. I am going to miss you all terribly! However, I know you will be in great hands when I leave. Since it is my last week (and a short week at that), there will be no homework other than the test.

This Tuesday is the Science test on Space.... Vous devez savoir:
- l'ordre des planètes
- les planètes intérieurs et extérieures
- le # de constellations
- l'information sur une constellation
- les phases de la lune
- les sources de lumière dans le ciel
- les besoins des astronautes dans l'espace
- 1 astronaute canadien et ce qu'il a fait dans l'espace
- les avantages et les désavantages de l'exploration de l'espace
- Pourquoi avons nous besoin le soleil?

Il y aura d'autres questions sur le test ayant rapport avec ce qu'on a appris en classe.

Today was a great day! I hope you all enjoyed our debate- I sure did! Also, I hope you enjoyed eating the dehydrated astronaut ice cream! It was tasty but I prefer the real thing :o)

Don't forget that you have to hand in your verb homework for Friday.

For this week's homework, you have to complete the worksheet on "Le Futur Proche" (due Wednesday) and you also have to complete the "Journal alimentaire" that was given out. I have included a link to the food guide for portion size (due January 21). Also, don't forget the quiz on Futur Proche this Friday and your constellation project due for next Monday (presentations are that day so don't forget it!).

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and got some well-deserved rest. Now that we are back at school, it is time to get right back into things with an exciting project on constellations!

Each of you has been randomly assigned a constellation. You are to use the mini-research form to help you with your project. Here are the details of the project:

Ce projet doit être fait sur un carton “Bristol” et doit inclure:
- Le nom de ta constellation
- L’illustration de ta constellation
- L’explication de l’origine de son nom
- Un fait intéressant à propos des constellations que tu as découverts durant tes
recherches
- Les ressources que tu as utilisées pour faire ta recherche (un minimum de 3
ressources différentes)
À NOTER
* Écrivez votre projet dans vos mots.
* Utilisez des paragraphes et des phrases complètes.
* Corrigez et éditez votre travail.

You must discuss your research project with your parents and return the signed section no later than Wednesday January 9.

The project is due on Monday January 21 and presentations will take place that week.

In other homework this week, please complete the sentences for the verb finir in the four following tenses: présent, passé composé, imparfait, and futur proche. This is due Friday January 11th. Please note that I have put a link to an online bescherelle, future proche is NOT there. We have discussed this in class, so don't forget futur proche is le verbe aller au présent + verbe (je vais finir).
